Our Approach to Sustainability

AVENT Global Limited is committed to, and invests heavily in, creating a sustainable logistics environment for us and future generations. Our strategy is framed around:

Social sustainability. AVENT Global Limited focuses on social responsibility and being a business that supports the surrounding community, employees and stakeholders. AVENT Global Limited invests in long-term community relationships by 'giving back' through sponsoring youth sport and other health related opportunities.

Environmental sustainability. AVENT Global Limited is certified carbon neutral and invests in wildlife regeneration and growth projects around the world.  Every day, we assess our impact on waste and reduce packaging where possible. All our paper, cardboard, labelling and other consumables are biodegradable where possible (~97%). Our warehouse is part-powered with green energy where infrastructure allows (~65%).

Economic sustainability. As an SME, AVENT Global Limited focuses on corporate governance, supply chain sustainability, sustainability risk management, compliance and accounting transparency. Ensuring that we are compliant and a legitimate entity is paramount to our initial and ongoing successes.

Voluntary Modern Slavery Statement

Commitment

A full voluntary Modern Slavery Statement is published on the UK Government website https://modern-slavery-statement-registry.service.gov.uk/statement-summary/rArES37U/2024

This statement has been published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by AVENT Global Limited and Brunswick Medical Limited during the 2024/5 financial year to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.

Both companies fully support the UK Government’s objectives to eradicate modern slavery and human trafficking.

Organisational Structure

AVENT Global Limited and Brunswick Medical Limited are both private limited companies limited by shares. The company operates in the UK.

Our services include logistics management and commercialisation support.

Supply Chain, Due Diligence, Risk Assessment, Training

We know that whilst we are not a 'relevant' organisation (revenue <£36M p.a.) our sustainable logistics Supply Chain presents the greatest risk of Slavery and Human Trafficking so our relationship with our suppliers is an essential part of our commitment to preventing modern slavery.

Our Modern Slavery strategy and processes include, but are not limited to, the following:

- All suppliers that are in scope of the Modern Slavery Act must provide their statement.

- An assessment for all new suppliers to comply with and procedural or legislative code.

Where the company, its suppliers or customers develop any concerns relating to modern slavery, they are raised with the Board of Directors. Appropriate action will then ensue.

Further, both companies have ensured the following:

- Training for all employees via our HR portal on the Modern Slavery Act and associated risks.

- Monthly meetings to proactively assess whether our activities or partners present a risk. Due diligence and risk assessments are undertaken and documented where required.

- We will publish our annual statements on our website.
